Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, said that over the past 50 years, Vietnam and India have always maintained a friendship, sustainable and increasingly developing in all fields, from "strategic partnership" in 2007 to "comprehensive strategic partnership" in 2016. That is a solid foundation for local-level cooperation between the two sides, including cooperation between Binh Dinh province and Indian enterprises and partners, to open up more opportunities.
Conference to promote investment, trade and tourism development with Indian partners
In recent years, Binh Dinh province has been actively integrating internationally, promoting, calling for and attracting foreign investment, trade and tourism, with special attention paid to Indian investors, businesses and partners.
Binh Dinh has received tourism experts sent by India, strengthened connections with Indian travel companies to support the promotion of Binh Dinh tourism information, thanks to which, more and more Indian tourists know about Binh Dinh.
Binh Dinh province has identified its vision and future development orientation as a center of science, technology, innovation, and an important place for applying artificial intelligence in Vietnam; sustainable economic development based on the pillars of processing and manufacturing industry, information technology industry and AI; high-quality tourism; organic agriculture and an efficient logistics system. These areas are all strengths of India.
Signing of cooperation between Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee and Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City
At the conference, Binh Dinh province introduced the local socio-economic development situation; potential, advantages, support policies, investment attraction, investment environment and the province's efforts and determination in expanding investment, trade, tourism cooperation... with partners, including India.
The conference also witnessed the Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee signing a cooperation agreement with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City; the Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee granted investment policies and investment registration certificates to Indian partners.
