"I never thought I would have such a spacious house. This is a priceless gift that I will be grateful for all my life," Mrs. Bong emotionally shared.

According to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, in recent years, the "For the Poor" Fund at all levels of the City has received attention, trust and support from organizations, agencies, businesses and people in the area. In particular, in 2024, to practically celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation Day of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024), welcoming the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024-2029 term, the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the City People's Committee signed a joint plan to support the construction and repair of dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in Hanoi.

During the year, a total of 712 poor and near-poor households completed the construction and repair of their houses. In addition, 691 houses were built and repaired for households in particularly difficult circumstances in the area. These figures demonstrate the determination, responsibility and deep humanity in the City's social security work.

Implementing the plan to eliminate dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households, by October 2024, Hanoi City has completed the construction and repair of dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households in the area.

In particular, to practically celebrate the country's major holidays, the Capital in 2025, to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels and to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day, and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Hanoi Party Committee. In 2025, in order to continue to pay attention to supporting near-poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in the Capital, especially paying attention to food and accommodation, helping households in difficult circumstances settle down, the City's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee has developed a plan to mobilize and use the "For the Poor" Fund in the City.

Hanoi City continues to review and support the construction of 95 Great Solidarity houses for near-poor households and households in especially difficult circumstances in difficult areas. Of which, the City-level "For the Poor" Fund allocates 4.75 billion VND to support each household with 50 million VND.

With the determination to leave no one behind, Hanoi city is gradually realizing the goal of sustainable social security, building the capital to be increasingly civilized, modern and humane.
