Carefully prepare to attend the 5th Conference between the Provincial Party Secretaries of 4 border provinces with Yunnan province, China

On the afternoon of October 28, comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired a meeting with the delegation of Tuyen Quang province to attend the 5th annual conference between Provincial Party Secretaries and the 11th meeting of the Joint Working Group in Lai Chau province.

Attending the meeting were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of a number of agencies and units that are members of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Working Group.

At the meeting, delegates listened to the report of the Department of Foreign Affairs on the results of the implementation of the Minutes of the 4th Annual Conference between Provincial Party Secretaries and the 10th Meeting of the Joint Working Group with Yunnan Province (China); at the same time, they gave their opinions on the preparation of documents, working programs, and cooperation contents expected to be discussed at the conference. Delegates also listened to the plan to organize foreign affairs events taking place in Lai Chau province from October 29 to 30, 2025.

According to the program, the 5th Annual Conference will have a bilateral meeting between the Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee and the Secretary of Yunnan Provincial Party Committee, discussing the socio -economic development situation, cooperation potential and agreeing on new cooperation orientations between the two provinces in the coming time.

The 5th Annual Conference between the Provincial Party Secretaries of Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang provinces (Vietnam) and Yunnan province (China) and the 11th Session of the Joint Working Group will evaluate the results of implementing the cooperation contents agreed upon at the 4th Conference and the 10th Session; at the same time, discuss and agree on new coordination directions, preparing for the 6th Annual Conference and the 12th Session next year.

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh emphasized: Attending the 5th Annual Conference between Provincial Party Secretaries and the 11th Meeting of the Joint Working Group is an important occasion for Tuyen Quang to continue expanding friendly cooperation, enhancing understanding and substantive exchanges with Yunnan province (China), contributing to promoting the province's socio-economic development in the new period.

He requested the working delegation to carefully prepare the working content, ensure the quality of reports and documents for the conference; proactively discuss and agree on cooperation contents suitable to the potential and strengths of the province, especially in the socio-economic fields.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested the members of the Delegation to coordinate closely, strictly implement foreign affairs discipline, demonstrate the local spirit of responsibility, professionalism and openness in the process of working with friends; propose specific solutions to effectively implement cooperation contents, creating clear changes in friendly cooperation and sustainable development between Tuyen Quang and Yunnan.
