Request to speed up the construction progress of Ring Road 3 Project - Ho Chi Minh City

(DN) - Comrade Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province, requested the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to direct contractors to speed up the construction progress of Component Project 3, Ring Road 3 Project - Ho Chi Minh City section passing through the province.

According to the report, the construction progress of the 3 packages of the project has so far reached 47% of the contract value, 4.4% behind schedule. Therefore, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc requested the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to seriously implement the Provincial People's Committee's plan to implement 140 days and nights to complete the technical traffic of the Ring Road 3 Project - Ho Chi Minh City. Directing contractors to be more determined, increase human resources, equipment, and organize construction in "3 shifts, 4 teams" to complete on schedule.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc also requested the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to direct the Nhon Trach Branch Land Fund Development Center to coordinate with the People's Committee of Phuoc An Commune, Dong Nai Province to completely handle and hand over 8 high-voltage power pole locations to the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to relocate the power system in the project area to serve the construction.

Along with that, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the My Thuan Project Management Board to complete the asphalt pavement at the connecting points to the service roads to ensure safety for vehicles participating in traffic in the area. At the same time, he directed the contractor of Project Component 1A to urgently construct and complete the transitional slab of the box culvert, cross culvert and remaining manhole at the routes Km9+000 and Km9+120.

The Belt Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City project passing through the province (component project 3) is over 11km long, starting at the intersection with Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway, ending at pier B of Nhon Trach Bridge. The project has a total investment of nearly 2.6 trillion VND. According to the request of the Prime Minister and the Provincial People's Committee, the project must complete technical traffic on December 19, 2025.
