On the morning of October 28, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin coordinated with Catholic Relief Services (CRS) to organize a training conference to improve the capacity of mobilizing and managing resources for key association officials in the northern provinces.

Trainees were shared by CRS staff and experts about the vision, mission, and operational strategy; introduced and analyzed types of resources and resource mobilization cycles; and guided on practical skills in building action plans, searching for and approaching domestic and foreign sponsors and partners.

These are all important skills that help association officials be more proactive in mobilizing the cooperation of the community, businesses, charitable funds and non -governmental organizations to support victims of Agent Orange in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.
The training conference is expected to be the starting point for many new initiatives in resource mobilization, continuing to affirm the role of the Association of Agent Orange/dioxin Victims in the Northern provinces and cities in the journey of accompanying, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights of the victims.
