La Vuong Plateau is 700m above sea level, with flat terrain interspersed with hills and slopes. The climate on this plateau is cool, with grasslands stretching along large lakes and primeval forests. Currently, Binh Dinh province has expanded roads and brought the national grid to this area.
Binh Dinh province is researching and finding a direction for tourism development in La Vuong plateau according to the design idea that won the first prize in the design idea contest for planning the La Vuong grassland ecotourism development area, organized by the Department of Construction of Binh Dinh province. Accordingly, the idea proposed to build an eco-tourism resort complex combining sports and entertainment based on nature and traditional cultural and historical values of La Vuong plateau with the message "La Vuong Glamping - Colorful world on the green plateau".
The planned scale of the La Vuong plateau tourism complex is expected to be about 500 hectares and aims to build this place into a large-scale tourism complex in the South Central region. After the planning is approved, Binh Dinh province will attract Glamping eco-resort projects, develop activities to experience and explore the nature of Chua Mountain forest, and recreational sports activities such as paragliding, kite-gliding, etc.
Mr. Tran Hanh, representative of Phuong Viet Construction Design Consulting Company - the winner of the first prize in the contest for master plan design ideas for the La Vuong grassland eco-tourism development area, said: "This land has many values, we must protect, restore and create a natural image, taking nature as the main focus in tourism development. Therefore, in our ideas, we build many types of tourism from resorts to exploit the advantages of climate, then physical activities - sports, green entertainment, paragliding, kite-gliding to create impressive activities for tourists. We also design special works such as glass bridges to create a tourist destination based on nature."
The delegation of the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province has just surveyed a number of locations expected to develop various types of tourism in La Vuong plateau. Through the actual survey, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee of Binh Dinh requested the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of the province to coordinate with Hoai Nhon town to research and plant tree species suitable to the soil here, creating a cool, green space, friendly to nature to serve tourism. Departments, branches, Hoai Nhon town and related units continue to complete the planning and traffic infrastructure in the plateau to promote tourism activities.
Mr. Ho Quoc Dung - Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee said that the idea of designing the planning area for the development of La Vuong eco-tourism plateau was carried out carefully and seriously, in line with the ideas proposed by the provincial leaders: "In the near future, the Standing Committee of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee will have opinions and contribute ideas on the planning of tourism development in La Vuong plateau, the Provincial People's Committee will approve and create conditions for the province to attract investors. In the near future, there will be a unique tourist destination on La Vuong plateau and will create a new boost for Binh Dinh tourism. In addition to sea and island tourism, cultural and historical tourism, landscape tourism, Binh Dinh will have a tourist area associated with a poetic plateau on the heroic land of Hoai Nhon town".
