BPO - This morning, June 6, nearly 13,200 candidates in Binh Phuoc completed the English exam, the final exam in the 10th grade public high school entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year. This year's exam was assessed to be safe, serious, and on schedule.
The exam took place on June 5 and 6 with more than 13,500 candidates registering. Candidates took 3 subjects: Literature, Math (120 minutes) and English (60 minutes).
According to a quick report from the Departmentof Education and Training of Binh Phuoc province, 13,278 candidates registered to take the English exam this morning, of which 235 were absent.
The reporter's observations show that this year's exam is assessed to be close to the program that students have studied and reviewed. The Math exam has a clearer differentiation than the Literature and English exams.
This year's exam was well-organized, responsible, and in accordance with regulations. Agencies, units, and localities have promoted good coordination to ensure the exam was successful. At 34 exam sites in the province, the work of ensuring security, order, traffic safety, and material conditions for the exam was carefully implemented.
According to information from the Department of Education and Training, in the 2022-2023 school year, the province has more than 16,000 grade 9 students, of which 13,513 candidates registered to take the entrance exam to grade 10 public high schools. This afternoon, June 6 and tomorrow, June 7, candidates taking the entrance exam to Quang Trung High School for the Gifted and Binh Long High School for the Gifted will continue to take specialized subjects according to regulations.
