On the afternoon of September 6, news from Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee said that the work of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee was assigned by the Politburo to Mr. Lai The Nguyen.

Mr. Lai The Nguyen was assigned by the Politburo to run the work of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.

Specifically, according to the official dispatch of the Party Central Office, at the meeting on August 30, the Politburo issued Decision No. 1529 on Mr. Do Trong Hung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa province, ceasing to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, ceasing to hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa province for the 2021-2026 term; transferring, assigning, and appointing to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee.

At the same time, Mr. Lai The Nguyen, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the 15th National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province, was assigned to manage the work of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee until the position of Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term was completed according to regulations.

Previously, on September 5, the Central Organizing Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.

At the conference, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's decision to transfer and assign Mr. Do Trong Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa province to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee.
