On December 13, the Politburo warned Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Mr. Truong Hoa Binh ; reprimanded Ms. Truong Thi Mai.

On December 13, 2024, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the Politburo reviewed and disciplined Party members with violations and shortcomings.

After reviewing the proposal of the Central Inspection Committee , the Politburo found that: Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, during his tenure as Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Prime Minister, violated Party and State regulations in performing assigned duties and tasks, and in preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

He also violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; causing serious consequences, bad public opinion, affecting the reputation of the Party and State.

During her tenure as Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, and Head of the Party Central Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Ms. Truong Thi Mai violated Party and State regulations in performing her assigned duties and tasks; violated regulations on controlling power in personnel work, regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do, and the responsibility to set an example.

These violations have serious consequences, affecting the reputation of the Party and State.

During his tenure as Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Truong Hoa Binh lacked responsibility in leadership and direction; violated Party and State regulations in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption and negativity; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example; caused serious consequences, bad public opinion, and affected the prestige of the Party and State.

The Politburo decided to issue disciplinary warnings to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Phuc and Truong Hoa Binh; reprimand Ms. Truong Thi Mai; and request competent authorities to promptly and consistently implement administrative discipline in line with Party discipline.
