Notably, in the context of consumer confidence being affected by many recent cases involving poor quality goods of unknown origin discovered and handled, the Ministry of Industry and Trade emphasized the need to strengthen communication and promotion of domestic goods, and support brand building for legitimate businesses to strengthen market confidence.
In addition, localities need to quickly develop plans and implement market stabilization programs, connecting supply and demand in the late 2025 and Lunar New Year 2026, fully prepare plans to reserve essential goods during the rainy and stormy season, and ensure stable supply.
Finally, the overarching task is to closely monitor supply and demand and prices of essential goods to promptly take measures and proactively report to competent authorities when there are unusual fluctuations, contributing to effectively implementing the goals of controlling inflation and stabilizing the macro economy .
The Ministry of Industry and Trade requests that the Departments of Industry and Trade of localities seriously, promptly and responsibly implement the assigned contents.
