The Women's Union of the Da Nang City Military Command launched a campaign to raise "piggy banks" on the occasion of October 20.

DNO - On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2025), on the morning of October 20, the Women's Union of the Da Nang City Military Command launched a piggy bank movement and the campaign "Spring comes, new clothes for you".

Accordingly, the piggy bank movement aims to encourage members to save, creating a fund to help women and children in difficult circumstances in the city. Each member saves 1,000 VND/day, the collected amount will be compiled and donated on October 20 every year, starting from 2026.

Along with that, the Women's Union of the Da Nang Military Command launched the campaign "Spring comes, new clothes for children", to call for donations of clothes and Tet gifts for students in difficult circumstances. Each member donates 3 sets of clothes/year, with a minimum of 200,000 VND. The summary date is December 25 every year, and the implementation period starts from 2025.

According to the Women's Union of the Da Nang City Military Command, these movements and campaigns have profound humanistic significance, contributing to spreading love, strengthening military-civilian solidarity, tightening comradeship, and beautifying the beautiful image of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" women in the new era.
