
Accordingly, the City Border Guard Command and the Border Guard Stations of Binh Minh and Cua Dai presented 10 tons of rice and 700 boxes of instant noodles to the people of Thang Truong, Thang An, Duy Nghia communes and Hoi An Dong ward. These are localities where tens of thousands of households have been flooded for many days.
At the border area, Ga Ry Border Guard Station connected with benefactors to give 12 tons of vegetables, 3 tons of rice, 2,000 banh chung and banh tet, 300 boxes of instant noodles and 200 warm clothes to people in Avuong and Hung Son communes.

The delegation also directly presented gifts to 145 households in Ateep and Dang villages (Avuong commune), each worth 300,000 VND, including essential necessities. In addition, 16 households whose houses were completely collapsed received an additional 2 million VND/household.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Phuc Truong, Political Commissar of Ga Ry Border Guard Station, said that during the recent floods, many households in border communes suffered heavy losses and faced many difficulties in life. The timely gifts helped people overcome immediate difficulties and stabilize their lives in the long term.

Previously, in addition to participating in search and rescue, the City Border Guard Command mobilized nearly 3 billion VND to support people affected by floods.
