Appoint Mr. Vu Van Cong to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do presented the decision to appoint Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee to Mr. Vu Van Cong.

In Decision No. 1288/QD-UBND dated August 18, 2023, Mr. Vu Van Cong, Head of General Department 1, Provincial Party Committee Office, was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Committee. The appointment period is 5 years from August 20 , 2023.

Speaking at the assignment, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do requested Mr. Vu Van Cong to continue to practice, cultivate, actively learn, improve professional qualifications and management skills to join the leadership of the Provincial Ethnic Committee to build a strong and united collective . P will promote his capacity and strengths to work with the collective of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Provincial Ethnic Committee to advise the Provincial People's Committee on state management of ethnic affairs and ethnic minority areas; organize the implementation of programs, projects and policies on hunger eradication, poverty reduction, sedentarization and resettlement; Promote the role of a standing agency, coordinate with departments, branches and localities to promote the implementation of the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas effectively, meet the requirements on capital disbursement progress, associated with the implementation of Conclusion No. 65-KL/TW dated October 30, 2019 of the Politburo and Resolution No. 24-NQ/TW of the Central Executive Committee on ethnic work in the new situation. At the same time, coordinate in training, arranging and attracting ethnic minority cadres, civil servants and public employees ; preserve and conserve the customs, traditions and culture of ethnic minorities, contributing to promoting economic development and ensuring social security in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Van Cong thanked the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee for their trust and confidence in assigning him to the new position at the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee. At the same time, he promised to continue to strive, practice, constantly study and improve his professional capacity to perform well the assigned tasks.
