Dien Bien TV - On the morning of July 17, a delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by Comrade Bui Thanh Son, member of the Party Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a working session with the Department of Foreign Affairs of Dien Bien province. Receiving and working with the delegation were Comrade Mua A Vang, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Dien Bien Dong District Party Committee, and representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.

At the meeting, the leaders of the Department of Foreign Affairs also briefly reported on some information and activities of the Department in the past time. At the same time, they proposed to the Minister and the working delegation to pay attention and have a separate mechanism for the Department of Foreign Affairs in the work of training and fostering cadres, especially young cadres who have the opportunity to practice and learn experience at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs ; at the same time, they have the opportunity to participate in studying and working at Vietnamese diplomatic agencies in Laos and China.

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Bui Thanh Son, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Dien Bien province in advising the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee in implementing foreign affairs and international integration.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs also requested the Department of Foreign Affairs of Dien Bien province to promote its advisory role to the province in foreign affairs and economic development, promote infrastructure construction in border areas and border gates; continue to promote the local image in various forms; and promote the building of a professional, comprehensive and modern Vietnamese diplomacy.
