Minister Nguyen Kim Son visits Tokyo Gakugei University

From October 10 to 13, Minister Nguyen Kim Son and the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training visited and worked in Japan. The delegation's first day in Japan included a visit to Tokyo Gakugei University and the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan.

At Tokyo Gakugei University, Minister Nguyen Kim Son and the delegation visited the facilities, classrooms, and library at the school; and had a discussion with the Board of Directors and professional staff of Tokyo Gakugei University.

Sharing about the process of extensiveeducational and training innovation taking place in Vietnam with the important role of pedagogical universities in training teachers to meet the requirements of innovation, Minister Nguyen Kim Son also expressed his appreciation for the strong development of Japanese educational science when education is oriented towards human development, with a high level of practicality and practice in education.

The Minister and members of the delegation hope that Tokyo Gakugei University will share information with Vietnam about practical education models, experiences in teacher training and policies for developing teaching staff...

The proposals and wishes of Minister Nguyen Kim Son and the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Training were discussed in detail by the Board of Directors and professional staff of Tokyo Gakugei University at the meeting. Many experiences in teacher training, including the role of practice and large budget investment for teacher training, were shared.

Working with Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Pham Quang Hieu, Minister Nguyen Kim Son expressed his thanks to the Ambassador and the officers and staff working here for their active and effective support and connections in the field of education and training.

Currently, Japan is one of the countries with the largest number of Vietnamese students living and studying. Links and exchanges in the field of education and training between Vietnam and Japan have also been established and implemented closely at many levels. These results have a role in promoting from the Embassy of Vietnam in Japan.

Minister Nguyen Kim Son hopes that in the coming time, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan will continue to provide support and coordination to further promote the relationship between the two countries in the field of education and training. In particular, attention will be paid to expanding cooperation in training high school teachers; exchanging university students and lecturers; connecting and cooperating between high schools of the two countries to learn from experiences and models in educational innovation, etc.

Continuing his visit and work in Japan, in the coming days, Minister Nguyen Kim Son will have further meetings with Nadeshik Primary School; attend the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Education and Training and Mizuno Corporation; pay a courtesy visit to the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of the Government of Japan (MEXT) and meet with MEXT's professional levels; pay a courtesy visit and exchange with the Vice President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

It is expected that in Japan, Minister Nguyen Kim Son will also witness the signing ceremony of cooperation agreements between educational institutions and enterprises of Vietnam and Japan./.
