VTV anchor Thuy Hang made a strong impression on the audience during the live broadcast of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South at Bach Dang Wharf Park (HCMC) thanks to her skillful improvisation when interviewing a child.
Faced with the situation where the little girl was too nervous to say anything, the female MC quickly suggested: "What is written on your shirt?". When the little girl read the words "I love Vietnam", MC Thuy Hang immediately cleverly encouraged the little girl to repeat and turned this moment into a meaningful message: "That is the spirit of Vietnam, that is the atmosphere at Ben Bach Dang Park in Ho Chi Minh City at this time".

Pressure and joy of news MC job
Currently, BTV Thuy Hang is a familiar face on VTV9 channel. Unlike many MCs who only read pre-existing scripts, here she is both an editor and an MC, having to prepare her own script and constantly update information until the minute it goes on air.

"The pressure on a host is the most intense when on air because we cannot make mistakes and do it again. Any problems that arise must be handled directly on air. The host must both host and listen to the director's orders to handle the situation in the neatest way possible," Thuy Hang once revealed.
Regarding the decision to leave the 7pm News, she shared: "For me, this is not a surprising decision. I expressed my thoughts and wishes and was fortunate to have the Station's Board of Directors approve. I want to return to VTV9 to be close to my family, to conveniently take care of my relatives and children."
