During the 5 years of implementing the Project to replicate the Intergenerational Self-Help Club (CLB) model until 2025 (Project), the Central Committee of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly has compiled and published documents guiding localities to replicate and manage the quality of Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs; organized training courses for nearly 3,000 association officials, source lecturers, Club Management Boards, and volunteers; coordinated with international organizations to organize more than 20 forums and workshops on population aging, replication and maintenance of the Club.

The Central Association and localities have also coordinated with press and television agencies to produce over 2,000 articles, videos, and television programs to promote and raise awareness of the significance of the Intergenerational Self-Help Club model.
To date, 63/63 provinces and cities nationwide have established new Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs (achieving 105% of the target and tasks). Currently, 9,000 Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs have been established nationwide, mobilizing 330,000 members to participate, including more than 231,000 elderly people.

In addition to the achieved results, the establishment and maintenance of the activities of Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs still have some limitations such as: some clubs have not yet implemented all activities, have not maintained monthly activities; some clubs lack funds to increase income, the rate of members borrowing capital is low; the expansion and maintenance of club activities in some mountainous, remote and isolated areas still have many difficulties...
In Dak Lak, the Provincial Association of the Elderly currently has over 150,000 members, operating in 180 grassroots associations and 2,199 branches. In the 2020-2025 period, the province established 215 Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs with 11,225 members. To date, 5 districts in the province have achieved 100% of communes with Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs, including: Krong Nang, Krong Bong, Krong Buk, Krong Ana, and Buon Don.

Concluding the Conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Association of the Elderly Nguyen Thanh Binh requested that all levels of the association pay attention to directing, discovering, and building Intergenerational Self-Help Clubs; all levels and authorities continue to pay attention, monitor, encourage, and create all favorable conditions for the elderly at all levels to feel secure and excited, continue to contribute their strength, intelligence, and experience, creating sustainable development; continue to strengthen inspection and supervision, not to let mistakes and violations occur in management and operation; do a good job of communication, especially about good and typical models, thereby promptly rewarding them...
