No longer confined by the stereotype of being just "pretty faces," many Vietnamese beauty queens are asserting their capabilities in the business world, taking on leadership roles in enterprises.
Taking on positions such as vice president or director is how beauty queens prove their worth, showcasing their intellectual beauty and strong character.

Sharing her experience of facing the stereotype of "pretty faces with no substance," Miss Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, the new CEO of Miss World Vietnam 2025, said: "In the past, we have seen many women lacking control and not being prioritized for leadership positions. This stereotype exists not only in the beauty industry but also in many other professions."
However, I chose to develop myself rather than be influenced by these notions."

Miss Bao Ngoc focuses on proving her capabilities through action, while also leveraging her voice to create influence and encourage women to pursue their passions without being constrained by rigid frameworks.
For her, beauty pageants are not only about celebrating beauty but also an opportunity for young people to showcase their potential, pursue sustainable values, and contribute to the community.

In fact, it's no longer unusual for beauty queens to venture into business and become business managers.
A prime example is Miss Do My Linh, who holds the position of Vice President of the shopping mall management company under T&T Group, a conglomerate owned by her husband's family.

Reportedly, 29-year-old businesswoman Do My Linh assumed this position a few months ago.

Not only Do My Linh, but also Do Thi Ha, the beauty queen crowned Miss Vietnam 2020, has made her mark in the business field.
In August 2023, she contributed 50% of the capital (equivalent to 5 billion VND) to establish Adela Group Co., Ltd., specializing in specialized clinics and cosmetic services.

Similarly, Miss International Transgender 2018 Huong Giang also demonstrated her business acumen. She leveraged her influence on social media to develop her online sales business.
In 2019, Huong Giang established her own company, Huong Giang Entertainment, operating in the entertainment industry. Thanks to a well-structured development strategy, by April 2023, the company had increased its charter capital from 2 billion VND to 10 billion VND.

Despite being a business owner, Huong Giang still frequently livestreams to sell products. In her first livestream, which lasted 5 hours, she and her team announced that they had achieved a revenue of 1.02 billion VND.

Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 Ngoc Chau also demonstrated her leadership capabilities when she was appointed as the National Director of the Miss Universe Vietnam competition in June 2024.

The fact that beauty queens are taking on leadership positions not only demonstrates their increasingly important role in businesses but also contributes to changing society's perception of beauty queens in the business field.
Responding to a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper , the CEO of Miss World Vietnam 2025, Miss Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, said: "My advice to women is to focus on what you believe in most, what you feel is valuable to yourself and society."
"As for the rest, time will tell the results of your efforts. You must remain confident; whether or not you receive recognition is just a secondary reward, don't make it the ultimate goal."
