In preparation for the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day on September 2nd (A80 Anniversary), VNPT has mobilized maximum human resources and technical equipment, putting its entire network into a state of readiness. All aspects, from optimizing infrastructure and improving mobile service quality to ensuring cybersecurity, have been thoroughly reviewed. Numerous technical plans have been developed, including maintaining stable connections, preventing cyberattacks, and being ready to activate service blocking measures when urgently required.

In Hanoi, Vinaphone's network capacity has been strengthened in 10 key areas, adding 1,100 4G cells, deploying 106 mobile/field 3G/4G/5G base stations, and installing IBS/Smallcell systems at strategic locations such as the National Exhibition Center and Noi Bai Airport.
VNPT also provides transmission infrastructure for VTV and HTV, ensuring the quality of live broadcasts of events.
As for Viettel , the network operator has deployed a large-scale telecommunications infrastructure campaign, installing 1,700 new 5G base stations, including 500 5G BTS stations, 1,200 5G smallcell stations, 700 temporary 4G stations, and 25 mobile broadcasting vehicles.
Viettel also applies AI technology to predict crowded areas, automatically adjusting coverage in real time to optimize connection quality. The standalone 5G system (5G SA) reduces latency to approximately 1 ms and increases speeds tenfold compared to 4G, meeting the demands of high-volume data transmission at crowded events.

Meanwhile, MobiFone has upgraded its infrastructure by implementing 5G, AI, and network automation. The MobiNet Adaptive Network system, using Machine Learning technology, analyzes user behavior and adjusts bandwidth and coverage to meet actual needs. Over 200 mobile base stations have been installed at event locations, and hundreds of engineers are on standby 24/7 to handle any issues.
On this occasion, MobiFone launched a series of thank-you offers, such as the VN80 package offering 80GB of data for 34,000 VND, a 50% discount on top-up value for prepaid subscribers, and many other gift programs. Meanwhile, VinaPhone – the mobile network of VNPT Group – launched the “Thank You – Free Data Giveaway” program for all customers nationwide. Specifically, from August 15th to September 5th, all VinaPhone prepaid and postpaid subscribers will receive up to 80GB of high-speed data completely free of charge.
