Network operators upgrade simultaneously, ready to serve the A80 Festival

Before the A80 Festival, VNPT, Viettel and MobiFone upgraded their infrastructure and implemented technical solutions to ensure smooth and safe connections for the increasing communication needs.

In preparation for the 80th National Day Celebration on September 2nd (A80 Celebration), VNPT mobilized maximum human resources and technical means, putting the entire network on combat duty. Items ranging from optimizing infrastructure, improving mobile service quality to ensuring network security were all carefully reviewed. Many technical solutions were developed, including maintaining stable connections, preventing cyber attacks and being ready to activate service blockade measures when there is an urgent request.

In Hanoi, Vinaphone network capacity was enhanced in 10 key areas, adding 1,100 4G cells, deploying 106 3G/4G/5G mobile/field hotspots and installing IBS/Smallcell systems at strategic locations such as the National Exhibition Center and Noi Bai airport.

VNPT also provides transmission infrastructure for VTV and HTV, ensuring the quality of live broadcasts of events.

As for Viettel , the network operator has deployed a large-scale telecommunications infrastructure campaign, installing 1,700 new 5G broadcasting stations, including 500 5G BTS stations, 1,200 5G smallcell stations, 700 temporary 4G stations and 25 mobile broadcasting vehicles.

Viettel also applies AI technology to predict crowded areas, automatically adjust coverage in real time, and optimize connection quality. The 5G standalone system (5G SA) helps reduce latency to about 1 ms, increases speed 10 times compared to 4G, and meets the need for large data transmission at crowded events.

Meanwhile, MobiFone has upgraded its infrastructure by applying 5G, AI and automated networks. The MobiNet Adaptive Network system with Machine Learning technology analyzes user behavior, adjusting bandwidth and coverage to suit actual needs. More than 200 mobile broadcasting stations are installed at event venues, hundreds of engineers are on duty 24/7 to handle problems.

On this occasion, MobiFone launched a series of gratitude promotions, such as the VN80 package giving away 80GB of data for 34,000 VND, a 50% discount on top-up value for prepaid subscribers, and many other gift programs. Meanwhile, VinaPhone - a mobile network under VNPT Group - has launched the "Gratitude - Free Data" program for all customers nationwide. Specifically, from August 15 to September 5, all VinaPhone prepaid and postpaid subscribers will receive up to 80GB of high-speed data completely free of charge.

The synchronous preparation of network operators helps ensure a solid telecommunications infrastructure, maintain stable, safe and high-quality connections, contributing to fully conveying the historic moments of the A80 Festival to millions of people in the country and international friends.
