On December 8th in Shanghai, AgiBot announced that the 5,000th Lingxi X2 multi-purpose humanoid robot had rolled off the production line. This achievement confirms Elon Musk's large-scale production capabilities and ambition to compete with Optimus.
The Lingxi X2 boasts 28 degrees of freedom, weighs 33.8 kg, has millisecond response times, and uses visual reasoning. AgiBot stated that reaching the milestone of 5,000 products is a preparatory step for full commercialization.
China currently leads in industrial and service robots, creating a favorable environment for AgiBot. The company plans to expand its factory in Pudong, increasing its capacity to more than 400 robots per month. In addition to hardware, AgiBot also developed the AI GO-1, increasing the task completion rate to 78%.
With its strategy of combining mass production and AI, AgiBot has emerged as a formidable competitor to Tesla. Readers are invited to watch the following video : Breakthroughs in the humanoid robot revolution | VTV24
