Techcombank headquarters buildings awarded '5-star Green Energy' certificate

Techcombank is the only private bank to achieve the “5-star Green Energy” certification for its headquarters buildings in Hanoi, affirming its position as the Best Workplace in Vietnam and Asia.

To achieve the “5-star Green Energy” certification, Techcombank Headquarters buildings at 6 Quang Trung and Headquarters building at 119 Tran Duy Hung, Hanoi, have undergone many rounds of surveys and inspections to meet the strict assessment criteria of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade and the Steering Committee of the City’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Program. In 2023, 66 facilities were awarded Green Energy certification by the Hanoi People’s Committee, of which only 16 facilities were awarded the “5-star Green Energy” certification, including 2 Techcombank Headquarters buildings. This is a testament to the commitment to promoting sustainable development according to the ESG strategy - a core part of Techcombank’s long-term business orientation.

The “Green Energy” standard certification, announced annually by the Hanoi People’s Committee, aims to honor and encourage typical facilities and construction works in the city, with effective energy management models, applying modern technical solutions, investing in innovative high-performance technological equipment, and operating to ensure energy-saving use.

The “5-Star Green Energy” certification awarded to both Techcombank Headquarters buildings in Hanoi has once again affirmed Techcombank’s position as the Best Workplace in Vietnam and Asia. Techcombank inaugurated its Headquarters building at 6 Quang Trung, Hanoi, and its Headquarters building at 23 Le Duan, Ho Chi Minh City, on the bank’s 30th anniversary on September 27, 2023. Previously, the Tran Duy Hung Headquarters building in Hanoi was launched in 2019.

Techcombank Headquarters buildings were all designed by the world-renowned Foster + Partners, affirming Techcombank's position as the No. 1 private bank in Vietnam and among the leading banks in Asia. Foster + Partners is also the name that created modern architectural icons such as Apple Headquarters in the US.
