Schools simultaneously increase tuition fees for Information Technology majors, the highest is 190 million

The Academy of Posts and Telecommunications Technology expects tuition fees for new students in the next course to be 29.6-62.5 million VND/year (an increase of 2.6-10.2 million compared to the present).

Specifically, the average tuition for mass programs ranges from 29.6 to 37.6 million VND (an increase of 2.6 to 3.6 million VND). Tuition for high-quality programs ranges from 49.2 to 55 million VND, and international joint programs range from 54 to 62.5 million VND. Compared to last year, the highest increase is 10.2 million VND.

For the bachelor's program in Information Technology (application orientation), Game Design and Development, Vietnam - Japan Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence, tuition fees are at 40-45.5 million VND (an increase of 5-8.5 million VND).

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (Vietnam National University) announced that the average tuition fee (standard program) in 2025-2026 is 30 million VND/academic year (an increase of 1 million compared to last year). The advanced program, taught and learned in English, is 80 million VND/academic year and the Japan-oriented program is 60 million VND/academic year.

According to the 2025 enrollment plan of Hanoi Open University, the tuition fee for Information Technology is 22.4 million VND/year. The tuition fee for the following school years is expected to increase by a maximum of 10%. In the 2024-2025 school year, the tuition fee for the general Information Technology program is 20.3 million VND/year.

In 2025, the school's total enrollment target is 4,140, of which the general Information Technology major accounts for 410 targets.

Ho Chi Minh City Open University announced the expected tuition fee of 24-49.5 million VND/year, an increase of 1.5-2 million VND compared to last year. The standard tuition fee is 24-28.5 million VND/year, the highest for majors in the technology and engineering group.

Most high-quality programs charge tuition fees of 46.5 million VND. In particular, computer science, construction engineering technology, management information systems, and information technology have tuition fees of up to 49.5 million VND.

Banking Academy estimates that the tuition fee for the Information Technology major in the 2025-2026 school year will be 830,000 VND/credit, equivalent to about 28 million VND/school year according to the normal study schedule (last year the school collected more than 26 million VND).

At the University of Information Technology (Ho Chi Minh City National University), tuition fees for the 2025-2026 school year are expected to be VND37 million/school year (an increase of VND4.2 million compared to last year). Meanwhile, the advanced program tuition fees range from VND50-60 million/school year.

Saigon University announced the tuition fee for the new school year ranging from 73.79 - 193.429 million VND (equivalent to 18.4 - 48.3 million VND/year), depending on the major and training program. In which, the majors of Microcircuit Design, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Environmental Engineering Technology, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering have tuition fees of 150.445 million VND/course.

For the high-quality Information Technology program, tuition is 193,429 million VND/course.

In the 2025-2026 school year, the expected tuition fee for the Information Technology major (intensive English program) of the University of Science (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City) is 50 million VND/year. For the Computer and Information Technology major, the tuition fee is 35.5 million VND/school year 2025-2026.

At Hai Phong University of Management and Technology , the expected tuition fee for the 2025-2026 school year for Information Technology is 22 million VND/year, full-time (last year it was 16.4 million).
