Due to prolonged heavy rain, traffic routes in many communes were partially flooded, some houses and vehicles were deeply flooded.

According to the report of the Civil Defense Command of Dien Khanh commune, many places in the commune were deeply flooded, traffic was cut off due to prolonged heavy rain; some locations were partially flooded. Specifically, the villages: Phan Boi Chau 1, Phu Loc Dong 2, Phu An Nam 1, Phu An Nam 2, Phu An Nam 4, Phu An Nam 5, An Ninh, Vo Kien and Phuoc Trach had water inundating houses. The authorities evacuated 4 households/17 people to safe shelters. Road 23/10 through Dien Khanh commune was also completely flooded, An Ninh and Phuoc Trach villages were completely cut off. The commune has notified educational institutions to let students stay home from school; agencies, units, schools, medical stations, agricultural cooperatives, construction works and local people to proactively raise assets and move livestock to high places to avoid damage caused by floods.

In the two communes of Suoi Hiep and Suoi Dau, there was also deep flooding on the inner-village roads such as Tan Xuong 1, Tan Xuong 2, Vinh Cat... The road to the commune Party Committee headquarters in Binh Loc village was heavily flooded and completely cut off.

The Command Committee for Civil Defense, Natural Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue of communes has directed police, militia and shock troops to be on duty at flooded and dangerous areas, to warn and support people.
