Opal Suchata Chuangsri was crowned Miss World 2025 in India in May. She is the first Thai beauty to win this prestigious title.

After leaving the airport, Opal Suchata Chuangsri had a parade, passing through many streets in Thailand. She sat on a car decorated with colorful flowers. Thousands of people continued to surround the beauty queen on many streets. They called out Miss Opal Suchata Chuangsri's name and expressed their love for her.

Many audiences shared that they were happy when Opal Suchata Chuangsri became the first representative of Thailand to be crowned at the long-standing beauty pageant, Miss World.

Immediately after the victory of Miss Opal Suchata Chuangsri at the Miss World 2025 pageant, in early June, Thai Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra sent his congratulations to Miss Opal and praised this victory as "a result of effort, determination and sincerity".

“She won the crown in a beauty pageant with 108 representatives from around the world. This was not an easy victory and is very proud,” the Prime Minister said.

On the evening of May 31, the final round of the Miss World 2025 contest took place and the winner was the beauty Opal Suchata Chuangsri. The Miss World title of the Thai representative was considered completely worthy because throughout the journey, she always showed positive energy and shone in the sub-contests.

Before the final round, the Thai beauty won the Media competition and won a ticket to the top 40 finalists. In addition, the beauty was also in the top 8 of the Debate competition.

Opal Suchata Chuangsri (born 2003) was crowned Miss Universe Thailand 2024 and continued to represent the country at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant and won the third runner-up position.

The beauty queen underwent surgery to remove a tumor at the age of 16 and has since been actively involved in campaigns to support women, especially those with serious illnesses. She is currently working on the Opal For Her project to raise awareness about breast cancer, helping patients access the best treatments and live positively.

The reigning Miss World is studying International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science, Thammasat University, one of the top universities in Thailand. She can communicate fluently in both English and Chinese.

In the final night, the Thai beauty not only scored points thanks to her charming and elegant demeanor but also because of her fluent and meaningful answers in the question and answer round.

Opal Suchata Chuangsri said: "I learned that everyone has a responsibility to share a story. No matter who you are, there are always people looking to you to learn, including your parents. Therefore, being responsible and kind is the most powerful way to tell a story."
