Recorded at the scene on the morning of November 13, there was still a part of the tree stump that had fallen onto the road. The trunk and branches of the tree had been cut off and left on the road. At the place where the tree was uprooted and the rock rolled, a sandy area on the mountainside was exposed. Above this sandy area were several other very large, vertical rocks with many horizontal cracks. Under the drainage ditch were many rocks of quite large sizes.
A few dozen meters from the landslide, three other boulders were lying in the middle of the drainage ditch. Many banana trees on the mountainside had fallen and were swept away by the current into the ditch. Two iron electric poles were leaning out onto the road, in danger of falling at any moment.
Near the end of the slope of this route, there are also dozens of other rocks blocking the drainage ditch. Many tree trunks, branches, grass, and trash are carried by the water and stuck here.

In addition, this road surface has many places where it has sunk, the asphalt has been washed away, revealing rough rocks, which can easily cause accidents for road users.

There was also a piece of plastic-coated wire under the drainage ditch that looked like an electric wire. If it were a live wire, it would be very dangerous for passersby.

A broken piece of wire lay along the road.
In light of the above situation, the Management Board of the Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area recommends that visitors do not enter this area to ensure safety. The Management Board organizes and maintains regular checkpoints to disseminate information and assist visitors in choosing appropriate routes.
