Carlos Alcaraz just closed the 2025 US Open with an impressive victory over Jannik Sinner, thereby winning the sixth Grand Slam title of his career at the age of 22.
This is Alcaraz's second Grand Slam trophy of the year after Roland Garros, and also helps him equal the achievements of two legends Boris Becker and Stefan Edberg.

With his second US Open title, the Spanish player became a rare name after Djokovic, Nadal and Willander to own at least two championships on all Grand Slam courts.
Alcaraz has now won the US Open, Roland Garros and Wimbledon twice, only missing the Australian Open to complete his title collection.
Not only that, the victory over Sinner also brought Carlos Alcaraz back to the world number one position for the first time in two years, with a total of 11,540 points.

Meanwhile, Sinner lost 750 points and dropped to 10,780 points, but the gap of less than 1,000 points still allows him to hope to regain his position in the upcoming major tournaments.
With increasingly stable performance, "Little Nadal" is showing remarkable maturity and desire to dominate world tennis.
