Ravi was diagnosed with a brain tumor at the age of 6.

Before performing, Ravi shared with the judges and the audience in the studio his reasons for taking part in the competition: "I've been watching Britain's Got Talent since I was a kid and I've always wanted to try out here. Two years ago, I was diagnosed with a brain tumour and I'm here to prove that no matter what life throws at you, you can still achieve your dreams."

Speaking about his performance, Ravi said that he and the choir, consisting of teachers, relatives, doctors and children from the brain tumor community, practiced performing "A million dreams" from the hit movie "The Greatest Showman".

Ravi and his friends, teachers, family, and medical staff performed the song "A million dreams" on Britain's Got Talent.

The performance moved judge Alesha. As soon as the group finished performing, Alesha, with tears in her eyes, pressed the golden buzzer, helping the whole team advance straight to the semi-finals, to compete live.

Alesha said: "I always say I only ring the golden buzzer when I feel like it and you're such a remarkable young man." Alesha then went on stage to hug Ravi and congratulate the team.

Judge Amanda Holden also couldn't hold back her tears. Meanwhile, Simon Cowell praised the boy for being very talented, brave and special. Judge Bruno Tonioli called Ravi a "hero".

At the end of the competition, Ravi said he would donate the show's £250,000 prize money to charity if he won the competition.

"I didn't see you press the golden bell because we were bowing. The confetti flew out but it took a while for our brains to connect.

"I've met famous people before but at that time, I felt different, like they believed in what we were trying to do. If we win, we'll reach our fundraising target and bring more awareness to brain tumours," The Sun quoted the 8-year-old boy as saying.

Britain's Got Talent was once one of the most popular reality TV shows in the UK. This year is the 17th season. Comedian Lee Ridley, dance troupe Diversity... are the winners of the competition.
