Speaking at the press conference for the release of the cover MV of the original song " What Could Be More Beautiful, " performed by Trieu Hong Ngoc and Tran Tuan Hoa, author Nguyen Hung expressed his joy at seeing the song so well-received by the audience.
He stated that the song was not intended for commercial purposes but stemmed from natural emotions and empathy with the characters in "Red Rain."
“I wrote 'What Could Be More Beautiful?' purely out of natural emotion. I just wanted to perfect a song that everyone could listen to and feel. At the time, I didn't think the song would touch so many people's emotions. The lyrics are all familiar, simple words of Vietnamese people,” Nguyen Hung said.
Previously, he shared with a reporter from Dan Tri newspaper that the song " What Could Be More Beautiful?" was completed in two stages: When he received the script, he wrote 50% of the music and paused. After filming the movie, he completed the remaining 50%.
Initially, the song was about love, but later Nguyen Hung shifted his focus to writing about love for the homeland, about mothers waiting for their sons to return from war.
"When composing the song, the emotions from the work 'Red Rain' inspired me to create meaningful and touching lyrics. I wrote it in an easy-to-understand way, so that everyone could feel the longing of a soldier for his mother," the male artist said.
Nguyen Hung also admitted that every time he performs the song on stage, he gets so emotional that he sheds tears.

At the event, singer Tran Tuan Hoa shared that the song "What Could Be More Beautiful?" brought back childhood memories and love for his homeland (Photo: Organizers).
At the launch event for his cover MV of "Còn gì đẹp hơn" (What Could Be More Beautiful) , singer Trần Tuấn Hòa said that the song evokes childhood memories of war stories told by his parents and grandparents. The song also helped him understand from a young age the silent sacrifices and the value of peace , especially since his father is a veteran.
It was this emotion that led Tran Tuan Hoa to decide to participate in singing a cover of "What Could Be More Beautiful" with singer Trieu Hong Ngoc, hoping to fully convey the message of love for his homeland and gratitude to previous generations.
While Nguyen Hung's original version had a rustic feel, the cover MV "Con Gi Dep Hon" (What Could Be More Beautiful) is given a fresh musical color through the arrangement by musician Vu Quang Trung.
According to musician Quang Trung, the music video is divided into three parts: The opening part uses the familiar sound of the flute and the folk melody "Floating Water Lilies and Drifting Clouds ," combined with a pop-classical style to maximize the vocal talents of Trieu Hong Ngoc and Tran Tuan Hoa.
The second part expresses patriotism, sacrifice, and struggle, emphasized by rhythm, strings, and drums. The final part aims for peace, connecting generations, combining images of children with the musical style of an orchestra.

When asked if they felt pressured by the comparison to the already famous original version, both singers affirmed that they were not stressed. Trieu Hong Ngoc emphasized that with a good song that touches emotions, the most important thing for an artist is to express it sincerely so that the audience understands the message.
She also admitted that the audience might prefer Nguyen Hung's original version, but both artists hope that people will see the sincerity in their performance, thereby appreciating the new version even more and cherishing the song even more.
"Music truly helps us connect with history through emotions, reminding each person of the sacrifices and love for their country," Trieu Hong Ngoc expressed.
