On the evening of November 6, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, the Vietnam Journalists Association ... to organize the 3rd National Press Awards "For the cause of developing Vietnamese culture". Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh attended the awards ceremony.

Mr. Le Quoc Minh - Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper, Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association, Chairman of the award's final judging panel - commented that this year the press award of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has been raised to a new level, demonstrated through the scale and quality of the entries.
With more than 1,000 entries sent from central and local press agencies, this year's entries are diverse in genre and theme.
In the final round, many works demonstrated depth of content, reflecting major issues of the industry such as cultural policy, legal basis, the role of culture in the digital age, building family culture, etc.
After the preliminary and final rounds, the organizing committee decided to award 95 individual prizes, including: 5 first prizes, 15 second prizes, 25 third prizes and 50 consolation prizes.
The 5 first prizes went to the following works: Preserving historical and cultural values when naming after the merger (printed newspaper, 4-part series, Van Hoa newspaper); Living forever the memory of the 70th anniversary of the victory (electronic newspaper, 5-part series, VietnamPlus electronic newspaper); Awakening the heritage (radio, Voice of Vietnam); Discussion on the Rising Era with the theme of the Rising Generation (television, News Department of Vietnam Television); Family traditions preserving 'national color' (press photos, Van Hoa newspaper).
In addition, the organizing committee also awarded 3 collective prizes to press agencies with many quality works: Voice of Vietnam; Bac Ninh Newspaper and Radio and Television; Vinh Long Newspaper and Radio and Television.

'Shocked by the online love market' by Tuoi Tre newspaper was awarded, Nguyen Hung was honored
Tuoi Tre Newspaper was awarded an encouragement prize for the 5-part series Shocked by the online love market by two authors Le Thi Truc Quyen (Truc Quyen) and Nguyen Vuong Tan Phat (Manh Tung).
A notable highlight of this year's season is that for the first time, the organizers awarded 6 more "Vietnamese Inspiration" awards. This award aims to honor the persistent efforts of press agencies, media channels and individuals who have contributed to turning culture into a source of spiritual energy spreading to millions of people.
The special prize went to Nhan Dan newspaper, the first prize went to Vietnam Television, the second prize went to the Military Radio and Television Center, and the third prize went to Hanoi Radio and Television. The Social Media Channel award went to Schannel Network and the individual prize went to actor and musician Nguyen Hung (Nguyen Quoc Hung).
Musician - singer - actor Nguyen Hung was not present to receive the award on the evening of November 6.
