Termination of operation of the Investment Project of the Exhibition Area introducing Vuon Thuong tea products

The reason for the termination of operations was because the enterprise had not completed investment preparation procedures, the project was 5 years and 9 months behind schedule and no goals were achieved.

Accordingly, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee agreed in principle to terminate the investment project of the Vuon Thuong Tea Product Display Area of Vuon Thuong Tea Company Limited at Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area, which was granted Investment Certificate No. 42121000812 by the Provincial People's Committee on October 25, 2011, as proposed by the Department of Finance.

The reason for the termination of operations is that Tra Vuon Thuong Company Limited has not completed the investment preparation procedures; the project has not implemented the items according to the Investment Certificate, 5 years and 9 months behind schedule; the project has not achieved any goals. At the same time, the above project is not eligible for schedule adjustment according to regulations.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to carry out procedures to terminate the above investment project, and at the same time handle the deposit amount for project implementation (if any) in accordance with current law. On the side of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, it requested to inspect, review, and propose the Provincial People's Committee to handle the land use of Tra Vuon Thuong Company Limited (formerly Vuon Thuong Private Enterprise) after the termination of the project according to regulations. At the same time, the province also requested the Tax Department of Region XIII to review and determine the remaining financial obligations owed to the budget of Tra Vuon Thuong Company Limited and urge the collection and payment to the budget (if any) according to regulations.

The Provincial People's Committee requests the Da Lat City People's Committee to strengthen the management of construction order, land management, business activities and related contents in the project area after the project ceases operation according to regulations. And urgently complete the work of compensation, site clearance, and enforcement of construction order violations related to Tra Vuon Thuong Company Limited as well as related households and individuals within the Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area in accordance with regulations and directives of the province.

The Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area Management Board shall strengthen inspection and supervision; closely coordinate with localities in managing construction order, land and forest management, and business activities in the project area after the project ceases operation according to regulations.
