Previously, during a music night, the male singer hinted at going to the Zoo and Botanical Garden to date fans, but did not reveal the time.

In the photos posted by Son Tung M-TP, many people noticed the moment the male singer stood in the middle of the capybara cage, tenderly feeding, petting, and posing for photos with them.

Son Tung has also expressed his special affection for this animal many times, such as changing his Instagram profile picture to capybara, even changing his TikTok account name to capyboiii_7 and calling himself "Capy boy".

The "star" of the Zoo

Capybara - the world's largest rodent - is now considered the "star" at the Zoo. The family of four capybaras, including "Phu - Quy - Cat - Tuong", was introduced earlier this year and quickly won the hearts of visitors thanks to their gentle appearance and friendly personality.

Known as the “minister of foreign affairs ” of the animal world due to their sociability, capybaras can make friends with most other species. After only a few weeks of being brought home, the capybara family has completely adapted to their new living environment, boldly approaching and interacting with visitors.

Capybara is especially loved by children (Photo: Khoa Nguyen).

Caregivers say each individual has a distinctive, easily recognizable feature: Phu has a shaggy coat; Quy has a small dot on his right eye and likes to put his face close to the camera lens; Cat often takes a nap with grass in his mouth; and Tuong often turns his face inward and is a bit more reserved.

To make it easier for guests to recognize, each dog has its own name tag, clearly stating its characteristics and name.

Not only attracting visitors by its funny appearance, capybara also helps visitors, especially children, understand more about biodiversity and the meaning of protecting friendly animals in nature.

The capybara enclosure is about 80 square meters wide, designed to simulate the natural environment with a sand floor, a pond and high humidity. Every day, staff feed them 3 meals of leaves, grass, sweet potatoes - a diet similar to their native habitat in South America.

Visitors can feed the capybaras with food prepared by the park, take photos, record videos and watch them sunbathing and swimming. Children are especially excited to interact with these friendly animals.

A century-old destination in the heart of the city

Built in 1864, Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden (formerly known as Botanical Garden) is one of the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City, at the same time as the City Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral and Ben Thanh Market.

After more than 160 years, the Zoo is now over 20 hectares wide, the "green lung" of the central area of Ho Chi Minh City, home to more than 1,300 animals of 125 species and about 2,500 rare trees and plants.

This place attracts many tourists to visit, learn or simply find a little relaxation on the weekends.

Some areas that are popular with visitors include the carnivore area, bird area, reptile area, orchid garden, cactus garden, children's play area, and small cafe and food spaces scattered throughout the campus...

The Zoo is an ideal choice for people on hot days (Photo: Nam Anh).

Especially on big holidays such as Lunar New Year, Christmas, International Children's Day or Mid-Autumn Festival, this place often organizes music programs, circus performances, painting for children and animal recognition skills instruction.

In addition to daytime visiting hours (7am-5:30pm), Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens currently maintains night tours with each visit limited to about 20 people, applicable to visitors aged 10-65.

The program is divided into two time slots: 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. - 9:15 p.m., to ensure a private, safe experience and to limit impact on the animals' habitat.

During the journey, visitors can observe the nocturnal activities of tigers, leopards, hyenas, wild cats, lynxes, etc. under soft light, enough to see clearly without affecting their natural biological rhythms.
