(DN) - On the morning of August 14, the 1st Congress of the Nhon Trach Commune Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term took place with the participation of 200 delegates representing more than 2,200 party members in the entire commune Party Committee. Comrade Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee attended and directed the congress.

Nhon Trach commune was established on the basis of merging the communes: Phu Thanh, Long Tan, Phu Hoi, Phuoc Thien and Hiep Phuoc town.

During the past term, the commune's economic structure shifted in the right direction, increasing the proportion of industry, trade and services. Specifically, the proportion of industry accounted for 92%; trade and services accounted for 6% and agriculture accounted for 2% in the commune's economic structure. The average income per capita in 2024 of Nhon Trach commune is estimated at 87 million VND, an increase of about 1.4 times compared to 2020; the total annual budget revenue reached over 170 billion VND, exceeding the assigned target.

In Nhon Trach commune, there are currently 5 industrial parks and 1 handicraft park, creating jobs for nearly 11,000 workers.

During the past term, many important projects in the commune were invested in, built and put into use, creating a new look and promoting the economy, such as: Route 319 extending to Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, Phu Hoi Resettlement Area, Swanbay Residential Area... In particular, traffic infrastructure continued to be invested to create a strong development breakthrough, serving people's lives with 53 rural traffic routes being invested and upgraded with a cost of more than 29 billion VND.

In the new term, the Party Committee of Nhon Trach commune is determined to strengthen the building and rectification of the Party and the political system to be streamlined, effective and efficient. Promote the strength of solidarity, mobilize resources and advantages to build Nhon Trach to new heights, becoming an industrial city - satellite city of Long Thanh Airport.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, assessed: The economic structure of Nhon Trach commune has continued to shift in the right direction. Industrial production, trade - services, and agriculture have developed strongly, maintaining a high growth rate. Socio-economic infrastructure has been focused on, the rural transport system has been focused on and invested in to serve the local people well. Along with that, the budget management and operation have been carried out closely and effectively.

Activities in science and technology, digital transformation, education and training, and the protection and care of people's health have been well implemented. Political security and social order and safety have been maintained, contributing to creating a stable environment for development.

In the new development context, comrade Vo Tan Duc requested Nhon Trach commune to urgently complete the apparatus of the political system, ensure the staff is sufficient in quantity and quality, meet the requirements of new tasks, and avoid work congestion. At the same time, focus on socio-economic development, improve people's lives, in which continue to innovate the growth model, taking trade and services as the center of development. Promote digital transformation, apply science and technology in production.
