Fire at 6-storey garment factory in Tan Phu District, many people escaped

On January 28, Tan Phu District Police (HCMC) are investigating a house fire on Doc Lap Street, Tan Quy Ward.

According to initial information, at around 9:00 a.m. the same day, people discovered smoke coming from inside a 6-story house on Doc Lap Street, Tan Quy Ward, Tan Phu District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Discovering the fire, many people inside panicked and ran outside. Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Tan Phu District Police mobilized many vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene.

Authorities blocked off a section of Doc Lap Street (Tan Phu District) passing through the house on fire to put out the fire. Firefighters used a ladder truck to approach from above and sprayed water on the fire.

Authorities used a ladder truck to approach and spray water on the fire from above.

Locals said the house where the fire broke out was a garment factory. At the time of the fire, many people inside managed to escape. The cause and damage from this fire are currently being investigated by the police.
