On the evening of January 15, an electrical cabinet on the 3rd floor of the Mizuki Park apartment building (Binh Hung commune, Binh Chanh district, Ho Chi Minh City) suddenly caught fire, with smoke billowing everywhere.
The scene of the fire caused many people to be hospitalized.
According to initial information, at 7:23 p.m., the fire broke out on the 3rd floor, block MP3 of Mizuki Park Nam Long apartment building.
At this time, the fire alarm rang, hundreds of residents ran down the stairs. Smoke then spread to many apartments.
Upon receiving the news of the fire, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department (PC07) of Ho Chi Minh City Police mobilized the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of District 8 Police, Binh Chanh District Police, the Fire Fighting Team of Area 1 and the elite special police team of PC07. Upon arrival, the fire had been extinguished by the local forces.
Fire trucks were dispatched to put out the fire.
However, at the scene, smoke covered the entire area, elite special forces deployed modern vehicles and smoke extraction machines to directly guide 87 people out safely.
According to the source, at the time of the fire, many security guards were involved in extinguishing the fire and inhaled smoke. These people were later taken to the hospital for a health check.
The victim was taken for a medical examination.
