Details of 10th grade exam schedule and enrollment quota of Da Nang City in 2023

The 2023-2024 entrance exam for grade 10 of public high schools in Da Nang City will take place over two days, from June 6-7, with 11,423 positions.

Candidates will take 3 subjects: Math, Literature and Foreign Language. On June 6, the morning exam will be for Literature and the afternoon exam will be for Foreign Language. On June 7, the morning exam will be for Math. Candidates taking specialized subjects will take the exam on the morning of June 8.

Candidates will take the Math and Literature exams in essay format, while the Foreign Language exam will be in essay format combined with multiple choice. Exam time: Literature and Math: 120 minutes/subject; Foreign Language: 90 minutes.

The Department of Education and Training noted that units and schools should maintain teaching and reviewing; pay attention to practicing test-taking skills, familiarizing themselves with test formats and exam questions from previous years; support and encourage students to prepare mentally for the upcoming exams.

Drawing on experience from previous years' exams, teachers reminded students to follow the rules and regulations of the exam; especially to do the exam on the correct part of the paper for the candidate's answer, write the answers in the designated boxes for each part of the foreign language exam (candidates who do not write in the correct box will not have their answers scored); candidates taking the Japanese exam are not allowed to use pencils to do the exam.
