Accordingly, the additional enrollment of grade 10 for the 2025-2026 school year will only be carried out in region 1 (ie old Ho Chi Minh City), based on the list of public high schools with a student non-enrollment rate of 2.5% or more compared to the assigned quota.

The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City provides specific instructions on additional enrollment for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year as follows:

Additional enrollment for Japanese 10th grade class

For students who have taken the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year in Region 1, Ho Chi Minh City and have studied Japanese (first foreign language) in junior high school.

Students who register for the Japanese language exam, achieve a score of 5.0 or higher, and have not been admitted to high schools with Japanese language programs will be eligible for additional admission.

The Department of Education and Training will base on the list of qualified candidates to conduct admission based on the Japanese language test scores in order of priority from high to low until the remaining Japanese language class quota at Marie Curie High School is met.

Additional enrollment for integrated English grade 10 (according to Project 5695)

For students who have taken the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year, region 1.

Students who have passed other types of admission to high schools that teach integrated English programs (according to Project 5695) but wish to switch to studying integrated English programs (according to Project 5695) will be eligible to apply.

High school principals will organize a survey for students to change their wishes, in order to fill the assigned quota for integrated English classes.

Additional enrollment for regular grade 10

For students who have taken the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2025-2026 school year in region 1.

The admission conditions are that students do not pass any of their admission wishes to public high schools; have a total entrance exam score of 3 subjects: math, literature, foreign language and priority and incentive points (if any) greater than or equal to the standard score of the first wish of the public high school they want to register for. Each student can only register for additional admission to 1 high school and cannot change schools after submitting the application for additional admission.

Students wishing to enroll additional students will submit their application directly to the high school, including the 10th grade entrance exam score report issued by the middle school where the student registered to take the exam.

The high school will use the exam management software provided by the Department of Education and Training to consider candidates who are eligible for additional admission. In case the number of admitted candidates exceeds the remaining quota due to many candidates having the same score, the school's admission council will adjust the number of admitted candidates in the spirit that the number of admitted candidates does not exceed the assigned quota.
