Details of Maserati GranCabrio Folgore in Vietnam, price 13,314 billion VND

The all-electric Maserati Grecale Folgore and GranCabrio Folgore have just been launched in Vietnam, marking an important milestone in the electrification journey of the Italian luxury car company.

The Maserati GranCabrio Folgore has just been officially launched in Vietnam as the first pure electric convertible in the global luxury car segment. This is considered the convertible version of the current GranTurismo Folgore coupe, as it inherits almost all the quintessence from its "brother".

The GranCabrio Folgore still has the typical GT "style" with an extended front end, a smoothly tapered hood and a relatively short rear end. The car has dimensions of 4,960 x 2,113 x 1,382 (mm) in length x width x height, and a wheelbase of 2,929mm. The front wheels are 20 inches and the rear wheels are 21 inches.

The front of the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore is equipped with a wide and low radiator grille, while the headlights are swept back. Compared to the petrol version, the car has changed some details to optimize aerodynamics. Typically, the front bumper has been renewed to look softer, the air intakes on both sides have also been reduced in size.

The highlight of the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore's design is the soft top system that can open/close in 14-16 seconds even when the car is moving at speeds of up to 50 km/h. Users can choose from many different roof colors, affirming their own personality and liberal lifestyle.

Moving to the rear, the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore has a rounded, smooth tail when removing the exhaust pipe below. The charging position of this convertible sports car is arranged below the taillights, this design is quite rare on the market.

Despite being an electric car, Maserati still maintains its “uniqueness” through its distinctive engine sound, created by advanced sound technology from the Maserati Innovation Lab. This is a harmonious combination of emotional and technological elements, giving the driver the feeling of excitement as if driving an internal combustion engine supercar.

The GranCabrio Folgore is developed on an 800V electric platform, applying advanced technical solutions from the Formula E racetrack. This technology provides outstanding performance, while still maintaining the smoothness and sophistication typical of Maserati.

This luxury electric convertible is equipped with an engine block with 3 electric motors, including 1 motor on the front axle and 2 motors on the rear axle. This setup helps the car have a 4-wheel drive system. This transmission system gives a total capacity of 751 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,350 Nm.

Powering the engine is a 92.5 kWh battery pack. The car has four driving modes: GT, Sport, Corsa and Max Range. Thanks to the impressive power, the GranCabrio can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 290 km/h. More importantly, the model is expected to have a range of up to 447 km according to WLTP.

The GranCabrio Folgore uses a 92.5 kWh battery, supporting 400V DC, 150kW fast charging from 20-80% in just 20 minutes. With this technology, Maserati brings customers maximum convenience, making the journey seamless and uninterrupted.

The car has advanced driving assistance features such as: Cruise Control and ADAS Level 2 Driving Assistance System (including automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind spot warning, road sign recognition and active cruise control). 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, automatic braking when reversing. Attention warning system, pedestrian and cyclist recognition.

The official price of the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore sold in Vietnam starts at 13,314 billion VND.
