(ABO) On May 28, the Women's Union (WU) of Tien Giang province organized an experience sharing activity in managing and operating collective economic models, cooperatives (HTX), cooperative groups (THT), and linkage groups (TLK) of the Project to Support Cooperatives Managed by Women, Creating Jobs for Female Workers by 2030 (referred to as Project 01) in 2025 in Tan Hoa Dong commune, Tan Phuoc district.
Attending the event were Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Tien, Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union; officials of the Provincial and local Women's Unions, officials in charge of Project 01 and the Board of Directors, members of cooperatives and cooperative groups in Tan Phuoc district.

At the sharing session, Tan Hoa Dong Agricultural Service Cooperative introduced the cooperative's fields of operation such as: Cultivation services, providing seeds, fertilizers, pesticides; post-harvest services, labor supply; water supply; trading agricultural products and food; solving jobs for female workers...; at the same time, sharing the advantages and difficulties in operation.

Over the years, Tan Hoa Dong Agricultural Service Cooperative has affirmed its role as a typical model in developing a collective economy managed by women. With the spirit of innovation and creativity, the Cooperative has achieved many outstanding and remarkable results. The Cooperative not only organizes traditional agricultural production but also boldly implements a clean pineapple growing model associated with the value chain, creating jobs for local women. With the support of the Women's Union of Tan Hoa Dong commune, the Cooperative has actively participated in consultation sessions, shared experiences, organized activities to improve knowledge of business management, applied science and technology in production and brought products to e-commerce platforms.

Before that, female cadres and members visited the pineapple garden, pineapple nursery, and sewed threads from pineapple leaves at Tan Hoa Dong Agricultural Service Cooperative; exchanged and connected agricultural supply and demand (displayed and introduced the cooperative's products).
Speaking at the sharing session, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Tien, Vice President of the Women's Union of Tien Giang province, acknowledged and highly appreciated the role of women in cooperatives. The year 2024 marked a strong turning point in the implementation of Project 01. With the continuous efforts of all levels of the Union, especially the joint efforts of grassroots Union officials and members, and women, Project 01 has initially affirmed its role in developing the collective economy, contributing to promoting gender equality in the production and business sector.

By the end of 2024, Tien Giang province will have 15 cooperatives with women participating in management and operation, creating stable jobs for many female workers. Many models have demonstrated efficiency and sustainability, typically Tan Hoa Dong Agricultural Service Cooperative, Kim Phat Cooperative - Cho Gao district, Binh Nghi Cooperative - Go Cong Dong district, etc. Cooperatives not only provide services for planting, caring for ornamental flowers, supplying agricultural products, but also boldly apply digital technology, participate in e-commerce and connect product consumption through trading floors, contributing to expanding the market and increasing the value of agricultural products owned by women.

Today's sharing activity gives the Women's Unions of districts, cities and towns the opportunity to directly access real models, exchange, listen and learn valuable lessons from each other.
