Meaningful gifts were given to disadvantaged workers in Trieu Son district on the occasion of the Spring of At Ty 2025.

Chairman of the Trieu Son District Labor Federation Hoang Van Huy said: In recent years, the trade union activities and the labor movement of the district have achieved many positive results in the fields of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers; regularly doing a good job of propaganda and education, improving the political , ideological, professional and technical qualifications of workers. The district Labor Federation regularly follows the situation, aspirations of workers, proactively coordinates with functional departments and branches to inspect and supervise the implementation of policies and regimes such as: Salary, wages, social insurance, health insurance, sickness, maternity... for workers to ensure full and timely compliance with the provisions of law. In order to innovate and improve the quality of negotiation and signing of collective labor agreements, the Standing Committee of the District Labor Federation has developed a plan and guided grassroots trade unions to proactively coordinate with professionals, authorities, and employers at the same level to organize conferences of cadres, civil servants, and laborers according to the contents stipulated in the Law on Grassroots Democracy Implementation in 2022 and Decree 145/2020/ND-CP of the Government to ensure compliance with regulations. As a result, 42/42 administrative agencies and units have organized conferences of cadres, civil servants, and public employees; 33/33 enterprises with trade unions have organized laborers' conferences; 4/4 FDI enterprises have organized dialogue conferences.

The work of caring for the lives of union members and employees has been widely implemented, with many meaningful practical activities. From the beginning of 2024 to now, trade unions at all levels in the district have organized visits and given gifts to employees in difficult circumstances with a total amount of more than 6.5 billion VND; supported the construction of 12 "Union Shelters" for union members in difficult circumstances with an amount of 485 million VND... Implementing Resolution 7c/NQ-BCH of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on "Quality of shift meals for employees", the District Labor Federation directed grassroots trade unions in the enterprise sector, especially FDI enterprises, to proactively participate in monitoring the implementation of legal regulations on food safety and hygiene, and daily food rations for employees. As a result, 4/4 FDI enterprises supported shift meals for employees from 15,000 to 25,000 VND/day.

Patriotic emulation movements continue to innovate, attracting a large number of cadres, union members and workers to participate. Many good and creative models and practices have been effectively implemented, contributing to improving labor productivity and product quality, thereby improving the lives and incomes of workers, while successfully implementing the political, production and business tasks of agencies, units and enterprises. Promoting the work of developing union members, trade unions at all levels regularly innovate forms of attracting and gathering workers to participate in trade union organizations. As a result, in 2024, the District Labor Federation established 4 new grassroots trade unions, 1 grassroots trade union, and admitted 2,832 new union members. The work of participating in building a clean and strong Party and government has been seriously and effectively implemented by trade unions at all levels, introducing 210 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration and admission.

By effectively performing the function of caring for the lives, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees as well as organizing social activities, the trade unions at all levels of Trieu Son district have helped employees in the area feel secure in their work, actively compete in production, and successfully complete assigned tasks, contributing to the development of the local socio -economy.
