Tomorrow (February 10), the National Assembly Standing Committee continues its 42nd session with a number of other important contents.

Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on the investment policy of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway project.

Regarding this content, Minister of Transport Tran Hong Minh will present a summary report of the submission. Then, Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic Committee Vu Hong Thanh will present a summary of the review report.

Also during the working session, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the supplement on socio-economic development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more.

In addition, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on the plan to invest in additional charter capital for the 2024-2026 period of the parent company - Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC).

At the same time, give opinions on the contents of specific and special mechanisms and policies to develop the urban railway network system in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City by 2035.

Provide opinions on urgent mechanisms and solutions to implement the Project of renovating, repairing, upgrading and building a new Headquarters of the Office of the President; specific policies and mechanisms to build nuclear power plants in Ninh Thuan.
