According to Party Cell Secretary and Principal of A Long An Primary School Trinh Vinh Khanh, implementing Directive No. 50-CT/TW and Instruction No. 12-HD/BTCTW, the Party Cell has deployed many creative methods, suitable to the unit's characteristics, creating positive changes in the awareness and actions of Party members. The Party Cell currently has 15 Party members, most of whom are teachers directly teaching. In order for each meeting to be of high quality, the Party Cell carefully prepares the content, clearly defines the topic, and sends documents in advance for Party members to study. Each meeting is associated with reviewing the implementation of professional tasks, taking time for Party members to discuss, propose initiatives, and give constructive comments.
The combination of regular and thematic activities is carried out flexibly, with many practical topics such as: "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", "Preserving teachers' qualities in the new period", "Innovating teaching methods - promoting students' capacity". Mr. Trinh Vinh Khanh shared: "Party cell activities are an opportunity to look back at oneself, for each party member to speak, to be listened to and to give comments. From the activities, many professional and ethical issues are discussed in depth and resolved promptly. This is the foundation to help the teaching staff become more united and steadfast in teaching work".
The activities of the Party Cell of A Long An Primary School are always organized seriously, in accordance with regulations, ensuring duration and quality, with a democratic and open atmosphere, creating conditions for Party members to boldly express their opinions, contributing to building an increasingly strong Party Cell. Thanks to maintaining a good working regime, the resolutions of the Party Cell are concretized into monthly and semester work plans. The spirit of saying goes hand in hand with doing is clearly demonstrated in every action of each cadre and Party member.
Evaluating this activity, Mr. La Hong Phong - Secretary of the Party Committee of Tan An commune commented: "The Party Cell of A Long An Primary School is one of the typical units of the Party Committee of the commune. The Party Cell's activities are increasingly regular, with rich and practical content, contributing positively to the work of political and ideological education and building a team of dedicated teachers". The school's comprehensive education quality is maintained stably, with many improvements: The rate of good and excellent students is over 70%, and 100% of students complete the primary school program. The emulation movement "Building a friendly school, active students" has been effectively implemented, receiving high consensus from parents and society.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Cam Van - a parent of the school shared: “We trust the teaching staff. Not only do they teach letters, they also teach the children to be polite, honest and loving so that the school can truly be a friendly and exemplary educational environment.”
In addition to the achieved results, the Party cell also frankly acknowledged some difficulties such as: Teachers' working time is limited, the content of thematic activities is sometimes not rich, and the application of information technology in Party activities is still limited. To overcome this, the Party cell identified 4 key solutions: Continuing to innovate the content and form of activities in the spirit of Directive 50 and Instruction 12; improving the capacity and responsibility of the Party cell secretary; promoting the application of information technology through content presentation, electronic Party member handbooks; linking Party cell activities with the emulation movement of the industry and the resolution on local education development.
Implementing Directive No. 50-CT/TW and Instruction No. 12-HD/BTCTW well is not only a requirement for Party building work but also a solution to improve the political quality, ethics, and sense of responsibility of each Party member. From the practice at the Party Cell of A Primary School in Long An, it can be seen that when Party cell activities are substantive, democratic, and creative, the Party's resolutions truly come into life, bringing about clear changes in every action, every lecture, and every smile of the students.
