Manulife Vietnam has just launched four new insurance products: Green Dream - an education savings solution, Green Future - a multi-purpose financial solution, Green Shield - critical illness insurance, and Green Contingency - medical allowance insurance.
The "Green Solutions Quartet" are the first products of Manulife's new generation of insurance, developed in accordance with the new Insurance Business Law. These products have expanded coverage and benefits to meet the increasingly diverse needs of the people, from savings for education and children's future, to protection against critical illnesses, reducing the burden of medical expenses, and flexible investment for long-term financial goals.
Green Future is a unit-linked insurance product. It's a multi-purpose financial solution combining protection and investment in unit-linked funds managed by Manulife Investment (Vietnam) Fund Management Company. Thanks to its flexibility, the product is suitable for a wide range of goals and customer segments, from young professionals to families seeking long-term protection and investment.

Green Dream is a universal life insurance product that guarantees a minimum interest rate, meeting the protection needs of parents while accumulating funds for their children's education and future. Compared to previous universal life insurance products, Green Dream offers greater flexibility, allowing customers to choose different levels of protection according to their needs, at the same premium.
In this launch, both the Green Future and Green Dream products are enhanced with benefits that increase the insured amount up to 175% of the initial insured amount without underwriting or premium increase. Specifically, the insured amount will automatically increase over time up to 150% of the initial insured amount.
Furthermore, when a customer adds a new family member, the insurance payout increases by up to 25% of the initial payout. Green Dream also offers an additional 1% interest rate for the first 10 years of the contract. In addition, both products offer attractive bonuses for maintaining long-term contracts.

Green Shield is an insurance product that provides protection against 143 serious illnesses. Depending on their needs, customers can choose from three different layers of protection, including end-stage diseases, early-stage diseases, and common medical issues. The product has broad coverage and pays for common illnesses such as severe thyroid cancer and diabetes complications, for all ages, not just a few specific age groups as is often the case. This is a useful benefit given that these diseases are increasingly affecting younger people.
Another distinguishing feature of Green Shield compared to similar products on the market is its higher payout, up to 150% of the insured amount for gender-specific cancers, which are increasingly common in Vietnam. After the final benefit payment, the Green Shield product does not terminate but continues to protect customers against 65 other illnesses.

Green Contingency is a health insurance product that provides coverage based on the number of hospitalization days, including both routine and intensive care. A unique feature of Green Contingency is that it covers up to 100 hospitalization days per year, with no limit on the number of days covered throughout the contract term, until the customer reaches 75 years of age. The product offers competitive premiums and a simple claims process, helping customers reduce the financial burden of hospital expenses and ease income pressure during treatment.

The "Green Four Solutions" are designed to be transparent, easy to understand, highly flexible, and competitively priced. In addition, Manulife simplifies the language used in the insurance contracts, increasing visual appeal and making it easier for customers to grasp the information.
