The President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site at the Presidential Palace is a particularly important national historical-cultural relic, where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked during the last 15 years of his life (from December 1954 to September 2, 1969). This place not only preserves the ideological, moral, and simple, noble lifestyle values ​​of President Ho Chi Minh, but also becomes a living symbol, an important “destination” for high-level diplomatic relations between Vietnam and countries around the world.

Coming to the Relic Site, each person not only feels the breath of history but also sees the aspiration for peace, independence and the message of international friendship and solidarity of President Ho Chi Minh - a character loved across five continents for his outstanding talent and pure moral qualities, crystallizing the good values ​​of Vietnamese culture through thousands of years of history.

Walking around the Ho Chi Minh Relic Site,President Luong Cuong and President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka visited relics associated with the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh such as: Stilt house, fish pond, bronze statue of "Uncle Ho working in the flower garden of the Presidential Palace" and artifacts preserving many memories of him.

Sharing with the President of Sri Lanka about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, President Luong Cuong affirmed that he is the most beautiful symbol of patriotism and revolutionary heroism of Vietnam, the shining crystallization of morality, intelligence, spirit and conscience of the nation and the era; at the same time, he devoted his whole life to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the Vietnamese people.

At the small stilt house next to the fish pond, President Luong Cuong and President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka listened to an introduction about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh and recalled memories of a noble personality that always lives forever in the hearts of the Vietnamese people and international friends.

Through the documents and artifacts displayed here, the life, ideology, ethics and working style of a leader who devoted himself to the country, the people, and the cause of peace, friendship and progress of the peoples of the world are fully, clearly and truthfully depicted.

Right from the early years of the 20th century, on his journey to find a way to save the country, President Ho Chi Minh set foot in Sri Lanka, learned about the country and its people, opening the historical relationship between the two nations.

Many years later, the people of Sri Lanka loved and admired President Ho Chi Minh as a brave communist soldier who inspired and encouraged the national liberation movements of oppressed peoples around the world.

Moved by the visit to the relic site with President Luong Cuong, President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka expressed his respect and admiration for President Ho Chi Minh, who inspired the movement for independence and freedom around the world; was proud of Sri Lanka's solidarity with Vietnam during the revolutionary struggle; and thanked the warm and respectful reception that the State and people of Vietnam in general, and President Luong Cuong in particular, had given him and the Syrian delegation during their visit to Vietnam.

The visit to the Presidential Palace Relic Site by President Luong Cuong and President Anura Kumara Dissanayaka once again affirmed that Ho Chi Minh's cultural values ​​will continue to be a bridge for the close relationship between Vietnam and Sri Lanka to grow stronger in many fields.
