- On the afternoon of February 21, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung led a provincial delegation to survey the infrastructure and operations of enterprises at Binh Hoa Industrial Park (Chau Thanh District). Vice Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Van Phuoc, leaders of departments and branches and the Chau Thanh District People's Committee accompanied the delegation.

Binh Hoa Industrial Park currently has 18 projects (including 6 FDI enterprises) that have been granted investment policy approval decisions and valid investment registration certificates. The total land area for lease is 91.78 hectares (occupancy rate of 91.78%), total registered investment capital is more than 4,755 billion VND. Of which, 14 projects have been put into operation. Accumulated to the fourth quarter of 2024, according to the reports of enterprises, the total accumulated revenue is 29,544 billion VND, the accumulated budget contribution is about 873 billion VND and is creating jobs for about 18,000 workers. However, currently, the technical infrastructure of Binh Hoa Industrial Park has begun to degrade, damaged and needs to be maintained and upgraded with large funding sources; at the same time, there are still some companies implementing slow-progress projects...

At the meeting, businesses operating in Binh Hoa Industrial Park quickly informed the working group about their production activities and difficulties. At the same time, businesses also proposed related issues regarding: Rainwater drainage system; land fund for production development; traffic congestion during rush hours; lack of trained workers according to business needs; lighting system, etc.

Concluding the meeting, Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung acknowledged and highly appreciated the results and efforts of enterprises that have operated well, contributed to the budget and created many jobs for the locality in recent times.

Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung requested the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Home Affairs, and localities to strengthen coordination with enterprises to train workers to meet the needs of enterprises; create conditions to increase income as well as have more policies for workers. The Management Board of An Giang Provincial Economic Zone regularly consults and resolves related issues, grasps difficulties and recommendations of enterprises; coordinates with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to quickly complete the dossiers of units with specific assessments according to legal regulations. Chau Thanh District People's Committee coordinates with the Management Board of Industrial Parks to resolve issues of security, order and traffic safety; dredging and clearing to prevent local flooding in industrial parks.

Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Mung affirmed that the province is very interested in the activities of enterprises as well as accompanying enterprises to remove difficulties in a reasonable and rational manner based on the provisions of law so that enterprises can develop sustainably when investing in An Giang.
