Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung is the Head of the Working Group on the peak of the fight against and prevention of commercial fraud.

(QNO) - The Provincial People's Committee has just decided to establish a Working Group on the peak of the fight against, preventing and repelling smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods in Quang Nam province, headed by Comrade Le Van Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The working group has 2 deputy heads including Mr. Phan Thai Binh, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (standing deputy head) and Mr. Huynh Xuan Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade. The members of the working group are representatives of the leaders of the agencies and units that are members of the Steering Committee 389 of Quang Nam province such as the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Provincial Police, the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Border Guard Command, etc.

The working group is responsible for directing, inspecting, and urging departments, branches, localities, and functional forces in deploying and implementing Official Dispatch No. 65/CD-TTg dated May 15, 2025 and Directive No. 13/CT-TTg dated May 17, 2025 of the Prime Minister on launching a peak period against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and goods infringing intellectual property rights.

The working group directs the inspection and recommends handling of organizations and individuals who lack a sense of responsibility, are negative, lax in management, assist in smuggling, trade fraud, production and trade of counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights; requests relevant departments, sectors, localities, and functional forces to provide information on the situation and results of fighting smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods in the area and field of management.

In addition, the working group will summarize and evaluate the implementation of telegrams and directives; propose to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directions and solutions to solve important, inter-sectoral issues to improve the effectiveness of the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods...
