This afternoon, September 30th, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, organized a meeting of science and education sector officials to discuss and implement tasks for the remaining months of 2024. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ho Dai Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

From the beginning of 2024 to the present, Party committees and organizations in the science and education sector have organized study sessions, research, dissemination, and implementation of resolutions of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam. They have also organized political and ideological activities on Party building and rectification, and the political system, in accordance with Directive No. 05 "on promoting the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style."

The Quang Tri province is implementing the 2024 thematic study and research program "Learning and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style on preventing and combating corruption and negative phenomena," and organizing a widespread political and ideological activity through studying, researching, and introducing the article "Proud and confident under the glorious banner of the Party, determined to build an increasingly prosperous, civilized, cultured, and heroic Vietnam" by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, contributing to raising the level of political theory and creating positive changes in awareness and actions in building clean and strong Party organizations, agencies, and mass organizations.

Continuing to implement in depth Resolution No. 35 of the Politburo on "Strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation and combating erroneous and hostile viewpoints in the new situation," cadres, Party members, civil servants, and employees of departments and agencies within the bloc have shared and disseminated positive information, participated in guiding public opinion, and combated and refuted erroneous and hostile arguments.

At the conference, representatives from the science and education sector focused on discussing and orienting key tasks for studying, researching, understanding, disseminating, and implementing resolutions, conclusions, and directives of the Party and State, in accordance with the practical realities of each sector, field, unit, and locality. From this, they drew lessons, effective practices, and made recommendations to the Party and State to address difficulties and shortcomings, thereby improving leadership and guidance in the science and education sector.

Ho Dai Nam, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, requested that the science and education sectors pay attention to reviewing the goals and targets for implementing the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress to find solutions to achieve the best results; at the same time, they should evaluate and analyze, closely follow the progress of the process of drafting the documents for the 14th National Party Congress and the 18th Provincial Party Congress to proactively orient their activities.

For the sector's targets that are difficult to achieve during this term, it is necessary to assess the causes, provide explanations, and draw lessons to build targets and objectives to be included in the draft document of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the local reality and specific characteristics.

Continue to promote the study, research, understanding, dissemination, and effective implementation of the resolutions of the 13th Central Committee of the Party; research many creative ways to re-edit valid documents, summarizing key issues in a way that allows for more effective dissemination in practice.

Emphasis should be placed on digital transformation in disseminating and implementing the Party's guidelines and resolutions. Solutions should be developed to effectively and creatively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws and regulations, tailored to each sector and the practical conditions of each locality.
