On December 15th, the Youth Union of Dong Hoi Ward (Quang Tri Province) inaugurated the youth project to digitize Ho Chi Minh Square - the Temple of President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs of Quang Tri Province, along with the Dong Hoi Prison historical site.

The digitization of historical sites and structures aims to concretize revolutionary action movements, while also demonstrating the pioneering and creative spirit of youth union members in applying digital technology to the work of disseminating and educating about revolutionary historical traditions, contributing to the preservation and promotion of the historical and cultural values of the locality.

According to the Organizing Committee, the project was completed with the attention and guidance of the Party Committee, the coordination and support of the Public Service Management Board, the Dong Hoi General Service Center, and the active participation of youth union members.

A highlight of the project is the inclusion of QR codes at historical sites and landmarks, allowing locals and tourists to easily access information, images, and historical documents through smart devices. This contributes to a better understanding of the land and people of Dong Hoi in particular, and Quang Tri in general.

This is a concrete product demonstrating the determination of young people in taking the lead and volunteering for the community, contributing to building a more civilized and modern locality.

In the coming period, the implementing unit stated that it will continue to maintain and update the content and promote awareness so that the project can be effective and become a practical information channel in traditional education for youth union members and the people.

Following the inauguration ceremony, the project was handed over to the Public Service Management Board for acceptance, management, and operation, ensuring its long-term usability.
