The Globe Forest Park Ha Long project is one of 26 projects in Quang Ninh province that commenced construction on December 19, 2025, along with hundreds of other projects nationwide.

The forest park project covers approximately 620 hectares, located in Tuan Chau and Viet Hung wards, right at the gateway to the former Ha Long City, Quang Ninh province.

The project has a total investment of 5,380 billion VND and is being developed by Vingroup .

The park is planned to consist of 4 sub-areas, of which Area 1 is a family-themed park covering approximately 111 hectares, including various functions such as a visitor center and food court, a plum blossom forest, a BBQ area, a kite-flying area, and a camping area...

Zone 2, spanning over 82 hectares, is envisioned as a sports-themed park with amenities such as a plaza, a sports and culinary center, a yoga area, and a golf practice range.

Zone 3, spanning nearly 277 hectares, is planned to include a bird sanctuary, a fishing platform, forest trekking paths, and a public square.

Zone 4 is a public forest-themed park and wellness center spanning over 147 hectares, including a wellness center, boat docks, meditation platform, and more.

The park is expected to be operational from the second quarter of 2027.

Globe Forest Park in Ha Long is located adjacent to key transportation routes such as the Ha Long – Van Don Expressway, National Highway 18, and the Yen Vien – Pha Lai – Ha Long – Cai Lan national railway line. This area faces Ha Long Bay, is approximately 6 km from Tuan Chau Island, and is also next to the Ha Long Green Complex – the largest urban area in the country, with a total investment of over 18 billion USD.

In particular, the final station of the Hanoi – Quang Ninh high-speed railway line is expected to be located in the Globe Forest Park area of Ha Long.

The Hanoi - Quang Ninh railway project has a main line design speed of up to 350 km/h.

According to a proposal by VINSPEED High-Speed Railway Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, the Hanoi - Quang Ninh railway line will have its starting point at the National Exhibition Center (Co Loa), Dong Anh commune, Hanoi city; and its end point at the Forest Park area, Tuan Chau ward, Viet Hung ward, Quang Ninh province (opposite Vinhomes Ha Long Green urban area).

The project involves the construction of a new 120 km long, double-track, 1,435 mm gauge, electrified passenger railway. The design speed for the main line is 350 km/h; the section through Hanoi has a design speed of 120 km/h. In its pre-feasibility study report, VINSPEED proposed that the Hanoi - Quang Ninh railway project have a total investment of approximately US$5.54 billion.
