The “Agronomist Doctor” program provides useful information for farmers.

(CTO) - On October 22, the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center (Ministry of Agriculture and Environment) coordinated with the Can Tho City Farmers' Association and the PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation to organize the "Agronomist Doctor" program in Truong Thanh commune.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center; Mr. Nguyen Van Su, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Can Tho City, Chairman of the City Farmers' Association; experts, scientists and about 250 farmers attended.

The Advisory Board of the "Agronomist Doctor" Program discussed and answered farmers' questions.

At the program, scientists , agricultural and fertilizer experts discussed, consulted and guided farmers on techniques for growing durian and other fruit trees in the direction of quality, hygiene and food safety. Farmers were also guided on contents related to growing area codes; agricultural cultivation combined with tourism; livestock - veterinary, aquaculture...

Farmers ask questions to experts and scientists.  

The “Agronomist Doctor” program is a practical bridge between scientists - managers - farmers - businesses, helping farmers access knowledge, techniques, and safe and effective production processes. Thereby, contributing to building a green, sustainable and more competitive agriculture.

As planned, the program "Agronomist Doctor" will continue to be held in Thoi Hung commune, Can Tho city on October 23.
