Friendship exchange program "Border love"

On the evening of April 24, in Ea Sup district, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dak Lak province coordinated with the Department of Culture and Arts of Mondulkiri province (Kingdom of Cambodia) and the People's Committee of Ea Sup district to organize the friendship exchange program "Border love".

Attending the program were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai; representatives of leaders of agencies, units, localities of Dak Lak and Mondulkiri provinces and a large number of local people.

Speaking at the program, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Truong Cong Thai emphasized that Dak Lak and Mondulkiri provinces share a common border, and are closely and deeply connected in terms of geography, culture, economy and people. Over the past time, the governments and people of the two provinces have always been united, cooperated and supported each other in economic development, maintaining security and order in the border area, building a border of peace, friendship, cooperation and development.

The friendship exchange program "Border Love" is a meaningful and practical activity in a series of activities to summarize 50 years of Vietnamese Literature and Arts after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) in Dak Lak province; to celebrate the 58th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Cambodia diplomatic relations (June 24, 1967 - June 24, 2025).

The program held in the border district of Ea Sup is not only an opportunity to introduce and promote the cultural beauty and people of each country, but also a bridge to connect feelings, foster trust and mutual understanding between the people of Dak Lak and Mondulkiri provinces in particular and Vietnam and Cambodia in general; contributing to strengthening cooperation between the two localities, promoting advantages and potentials to continue connecting and cooperating in the fields of economy, society, cultural and artistic exchange in the coming time.

Director of the Department of Culture and Arts of Mondulkiri Province, Sok Ty Khea Vut, said that this was the first time he had come to the border district of Ea Sup and he was very happy and excited to see the development of the district. The history of the two provinces of Mondulkiri and Dak Lak has a long-standing traditional relationship. Therefore, the exchange program "Border Love" is a special event of great significance, creating an opportunity for the authorities of the two provinces to meet, exchange, learn, and continue to cooperate for development. Mr. Sok Ty Khea Vut hopes that in the coming time, there will be more meaningful cultural and artistic exchange programs between the two localities; at the same time, he sent his congratulations to the Vietnamese people on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Special art performance by Mondulkiri Provincial Art Troupe.

At the program, many artists and actors from the Mondulkiri Provincial Art Troupe, the Dak Lak Ethnic Song and Dance Troupe, the Provincial Border Guard Command's Art Troupe, the Ea Sup District Cultural and Sports Communication Center, and the Buon Don District Cultural and Sports Communication Center brought a vibrant, impressive, and unique performance night. Delegates and people enjoyed performances praising the Vietnam - Cambodia solidarity and friendship, the socio-economic achievements of the two provinces of Dak Lak and Mondulkiri, and the beautiful life such as: Mondulkiri, Dak Lak Samaki; Border friendship, solidarity and friendship; Vietnam - Cambodia two rivers; Ban Me sunset; H'Ren goes to the fields; Vietnam - Cambodia friendship song; If we still love each other, we will return to Buon Ma Thuot; As if Uncle Ho was here on the great victory day...

The program includes many special art performances praising the solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia.

The friendship exchange program “Border Love” took place successfully in a warm, sincere and friendly atmosphere. The success of the program affirmed the efforts of the governments and people of the two provinces in constantly fostering the good relationship of solidarity and cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia in general, and between Dak Lak and Mondulkiri provinces in particular, to become increasingly stronger, contributing to building a peaceful, stable and sustainably developed border area.
